ABOUT US

Originally from Washington DC / Arlington VA, I moved to Miami Beach to pursue opportunities in the yachting industry and a possible TV career. I have amassed a great deal of experience and have become an influential personality in the Miami Yachting scene and charter market.

I am looking to expand my horizon with interest in pursuing a position with an adventurous yacht owner who travels throughout Florida, the Bahamas and Caribbean.

I grew up spending the summers at my grandparents house on the Aquia Creek just off the Potomac River 40 miles south of Washington DC where my love for boating and being on-the-water developed into an obsession. My

grandfather taught me to drive his Sears 17 ft at age 3 and

by age 16 I was already pursuing the purchase of my own

boat. The obvious reasons prevented me from acquiring

my dreams at that time but merely motivated me to focus

on developing the credit and income to do so.

Finally by age 23, and only after purchasing my first house, I had a 30 ft Chris Craft built and delivered to Occaquan VA. The best day of my life!

I continued on to purchase boats but grew to be known as the go-to-guy in the area for any issue concerning your boat. From repairs to Captain to training it seemed I was destined to be in the yachting industry.

In the late 90's, after selling my first business, I ventured into the IT world where over the next seven years became the manager of world-wide Internet Operations at MCIWorldcom. Meanwhile, outside of work, boating was still my passion and the need for my services grew so I started Doyle Yacht Services to facilitate the ever growing yachting community in the Washington DC area.

resigned determined to follow my dreams and explore the freedom of the open water. Care and management of yachts followed by deliveries was a perfect fit and i didn't consider being a full time captain until I was offered a position to do just that. I fell in love with the challenges of managing a private yacht in all aspects of a 5 star operation. Entertaining, provisioning, maintenance, scheduling and wow-ing the crowd with complex vessel maneuvering made work seem like play.

and Washington DC area were we repeat the process. Fun Charters Miami has grown and specializes in being the affordable taste of the good life with yachts from 37 ft to 90 feet.

Currently  I Captain  private yachts, operate a small yacht management company, run deliveries, perform captain training/new owner insurance qualification and yacht charters in Miami FL. Recently, I became involved in TV and are helping the boating industry make it's way into millions of homes across the country. It sounds like we have a full plate but as the saying goes.."if you love what you do, you don't work a day in your life".

It was a long and arduous road to get to where we are........

As tech took over, millionaires popped up and purchased larger boats without a clue how to manage and operate them. This twist of fate and my dislike of big-business politics lead me to be a yacht captain. After years of uncertainty I

In 2009 I started Fun Charters Miami as a way for yacht owners to recoup expenses for delivery and dockage in south Florida for the winter months. This gave owners a great opportunity to have their boat professionally maintained and enable an endless summer. In Spring we return to the Chesapeake Bay

Now, with a great degree of experience in managing people I offer Captain and crew placement for small charter yachts in Miami. Was the host of Making Waves TV on Discovery networks.Started a yacht Management sevice for small yachts. Do yacht charters, deliveries and training.

I explore every day with an unending desire to feel the freedom that only this industry can deliver. Clients and owners alike appreciate my professionalism and enthusiastic approach to business.
